Blower Assembly Unit Recall

At Hail Storm Products, we take the utmost pride in the quality and safety of our products. Our products are vigorously tested so that we can provide you with only the best products.

We have recently found that certain Hail Protector Systems may be prone to malfunctioning
blowers, for products shipped between Feb 28, 2025 and April 29, 2025.  We have received reports that in some cases, when the blower assembly unit is on, the fans may spark or overheat, posing a fire hazard. We have determined that this is caused by defective blower fans. Therefore, we are voluntarily RECALLING the Blower Assembly Unit of the Hail Protector System in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

All other products by Hail Storm Products are not affected by this recall. 

To remedy the hazard, we are offering a replacement Blower Assembly Unit. We will provide 3 options:

1) Ship the Blower Assembly unit in original packaging (either the Central Control unit packaging or the Blower Assembly Box). We will provide the return label via email.
2) Ship the Blower Assembly Unit in your own box/packaging. We will provide the return label via email.
3) Allow Hail Storm Products to send you a box and return label for returning the blower assembly.

INSTRUCTIONS AND REMEDY

1) Customers should immediately stop using the Blower Assembly Unit.
2) Customers should visit this link to register for a replacement:

3) If there are any questions, please contact us at Recall@hailprotector.com or call the toll free number 855-772-4406 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday to receive directions on how to return the Recalled Product and receive your replacement Blower Assembly Unit for the Hail Protector System.
4) Once you have received your return label or Box & return label, customer will package and label the box with your current Blower Assembly Unit.
5) You may drop off the returned Unit with Fedex, any USPS Post Office, or hand directly to your USPS Mail Carrier.
6) After we receive your returned Blower Assembly Unit, we will ship you a new Blower
Assembly Unit. This process may take up to 4 weeks.
