At Hail Protector, your satisfaction is our priority. We offer a 21-day return policy on unused items in original packaging. Please read this policy carefully before making a return.

Return Eligibility

We want you to be completely satisfied with your Hail Protector purchase. If for any reason you're not happy with your order, we offer a straightforward return policy.

Eligible for Return

  • Unused, unopened items in original packaging
  • Items returned within 21 days of delivery
  • Products with all original tags, accessories, and documentation
  • Items that have not been assembled or inflated

Not Eligible for Return

  • Items that have been used, opened, or assembled
  • Products returned after 21 days from delivery
  • Items damaged due to misuse or improper storage
  • Custom or special-order items
  • Items missing original packaging or components
  • International orders
  • Exchange or replacement items (returns accepted on original orders only)

Restocking Fees

A 15% restocking fee applies to items returned unopened and unused. A 50% restocking fee applies to items that have been opened and/or used. Items must still be in sellable condition in original packaging.

We cannot accept returns on items that have been used, as this ensures every customer receives a new, fully functional product.

How to Initiate a Return

To begin your return, please follow these simple steps:

  1. Contact our support team at customerservice@hailstormproducts.com or call 855-511-4245 ext. 2 (Customer Service)
  2. Provide your order number and reason for return
  3. You may be asked to submit photographs of the item to help expedite your request
  4. Our team will email you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number
  5. Pack the item securely in its original packaging
  6. Include the RMA number on the outside of the package
  7. Ship the package to the address provided in your RMA email

All returns must be pre-authorized with an RMA number. Returns submitted without an RMA number will be refused.

Please contact us before shipping any return. We'll provide specific instructions and ensure a smooth process.

Return Shipping

Return shipping costs depend on the reason for return:

We Cover Shipping If:

  • You received a defective product
  • We sent the wrong item
  • The product arrived damaged during shipping

Customer Pays Shipping If:

  • You changed your mind about the purchase
  • You ordered the wrong size
  • The product doesn't meet your expectations

We recommend using a trackable shipping method and purchasing shipping insurance for returns. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.

Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll process your refund promptly.

Refund Timeline

  • Inspection: 1-3 business days after receipt
  • Refund initiation: Same day as approval
  • Credit to your account: 5-7 business days (depending on your bank)

Refund Amount

Approved returns receive a refund of the purchase price, less any applicable restocking fee (15% unopened, 50% opened/used). Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. If you paid with a credit card, please allow time for your bank to process the credit.

Exchanges

Need a different size? We're happy to help with exchanges.

How to Exchange

  1. Contact our support team to request an exchange
  2. We'll verify availability of your desired item
  3. Follow our return process to send back the original item
  4. Once received, we'll ship your replacement

Size exchanges are subject to product availability. If your desired size is out of stock, we'll offer a full refund or allow you to wait for restocking.

Please note: We accept returns on original orders only. Exchange or replacement items are not eligible for further return or exchange.

For fastest service, contact us before your return—we can often ship your exchange item immediately.

Damaged or Defective Items

We take quality seriously. If your product arrives damaged or defective:

  1. Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order
  2. Provide photos of the damage or defect
  3. Keep all original packaging materials
  4. We'll arrange a prepaid return label
  5. Choose a replacement or full refund

For items damaged during shipping, we may need to file a claim with the carrier. Please retain all packaging until the claim is resolved.

Manufacturing defects discovered after use may be covered under our warranty program.

Cancellations

Need to cancel an order? Here's what you need to know:

Before Shipment

Orders can be cancelled for a full refund if they haven't been shipped yet. Contact us immediately at 855-511-4245 or customerservice@hailstormproducts.com.

After Shipment

Once your order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled. You may refuse delivery or initiate a return after receiving the package.

During peak hail season, orders often ship same-day. Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel.
